It’s almost Christmas and we can’t forget about our beloved 4 leg children this holiday season. We have put together a list of 5 fun and handmade ideas you could do for your furkids for either under the tree or a fun treat (aka the iceblocks!!) and one your fur child could make for you along with the help of another pawent!

Christmas Dog Donut Toy

How cute is this idea! We found it from our friends at Pretty Fluffy. It’s pretty straight forward and you’ll only need a handful of items as listed below:

The below will make you 4 of these adorable doggy donuts! You could wrap each one on their own –  and your dog will be heaven with so many gifts to open on Christmas morning!

  • 2 Pair of Holiday Themed Socks
  • 2 Pair of thick socks (optional, depending on thickness of holiday socks)
  • Needle & Thread (optional)
  • Paper & Printer for Gift Tags
  • Ribbon for Garnish
  • Scissors

Homemade dog biscuits with 5 or less ingredients!

We all want to be a budding master chef and making some homemade dog biscuits with 5 or less ingredients are sure to make it easier to be that said master chef! We have a list of 25 easy and tasty options here. Don’t forget they use Fahrenheit so as a guide 375F is approx. 190 degrees C.

Doggy Iceblocks

We have some hot Summer days ahead of us in Australia! Here is a great idea that our friend Darcie from Instagram’s mumma did to help Darcie keep cool on a hot day. You can follow her adventures here! It’s a mix of cooled chicken stock and of course our Rose-Hip Vital Canine powder, then frozen. If your dog doesn’t take it, learn why it’s so special and all the benefits here.

Paw Print Christmas Decoration

As soon as we spotted , we just knew we had to share it with you. What a beautiful keepsake item to hang on your tree! The image & instructions on how to do this are from Natural Pawz and you and read about how to do it here.

Framed Paw Print

As the parent of a fur child, wouldn’t you love to be gifted this from your baby? So make a little hint to your partner, husband, wife, or family members to get your dog to put paw to paper and ink pad. We would recommend you print your dog’s name (and possibly the date) on thicker paper (make a few spares perhaps!) and then do the paw print. You can buy an affordable A4 frame from places like IKEA, Kmart, Big W or Target. Original image found on Pintrest here.

Happy creating and Merry Christmas to you and all your family!
