We adopted Aria a staffy x Labrador from a rescue center after fostering her for a month or so, we just couldn't let this chunky clumsy gorgeous 4 month old pup leave us.
Coming up to her first birthday we noticed she had started to slow up a bit she didn't want to play as much and was walking with a little bit of a limp in her back legs.
Dad took her off to the Vets who gave us some anti inflammatories and told us to rest up a bit. We did and things improved. A few weeks later down the dog park after a big play as staffy do .. we noticed she had stopped putting any weight on her left hind leg, being a staffy she didn't let this bother her no yelps in pain, she still wanted to play. Again this lead to another trip to the Vets, sedation X-rays and examinations later she had been diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia she isn't even one this broke our hearts but unfortunately with rescue pups these are things you have to deal with.
Vet suggested a course or steroid injections, change her food over to a prescription mobility one and no more playing at the dog park, chasing balls etc . after a while this seemed to help her and things eased up a bit but we still noticed getting up she was stiff.
I saw Rose-Hip Vital though a Facebook page I follow and looked into it. I wanted my silly, boisterous hyperactive puppy back and thought I would give this a try, what did she have to loose
Just over a month in and we have noticed such a huge difference in her, she is no longer struggling to get up off her bed or jumping onto the sofa, even had a few little ball games down the park . no stiffness, no limping we even noticed a difference in her coat and skin . this stuff is magic!!!! We finally have our puppy back, she will be celebrating her 2nd birthday in a couple weeks no doubt we will have more issues to overcome as she gets older with arthritis etc . but thanks to you guys it will be so much easier.
Thank you guys so much you have honestly made such a difference to our little family!
