We have never had to take our 16.5 year old desexed female red Cattle dog to the vet except for her yearly vaccines. Slowly it became more obvious that arthritis was showing in her hind legs & eventually it looked like she had developed hip dysplasia as she was crossing her hind legs & falling over & not able to stand for long periods of time, but she never showed any signs of pain, never whimpered, just kept on smiling just like she’s always does. She is now deaf & blind in one eye. We both started to come to terms with the fact they we may not have our beautiful girl with us much longer.
