Just ten minutes south of Batemans Bay on the New South Wales South Coast is the charming historic village of Mogo. Once a bustling hub during the Gold Rush, Mogo has experienced a creative resurgence in recent years, drawing visitors with its unique blend of local art, culture, and country hospitality.
Nestled in this picturesque town is Mogo Wildlife Park — a privately owned zoo known for its commitment to the conservation and breeding of rare and endangered animals. Though modest in size compared to larger city zoos, Mogo Wildlife Park has earned a national reputation thanks to its expert care team, cutting-edge breeding programs, and unwavering dedication to wildlife preservation.
In 1999, the park achieved a major milestone with the successful breeding of snow leopards, and today it continues to care for a fascinating array of rare species, including red pandas and white lions. The animal residents change and evolve over time, making each visit a unique experience.
In 2017, Rose-Hip Vital was introduced to several of the park’s animals as a natural anti-inflammatory and nutritional support. Many were dealing with issues like stiffness, reduced mobility, or age-related discomfort. Since incorporating our supplement into their care routines, Mogo’s veterinary team has reported noticeable improvements in movement, energy, and overall health.
To this day, we proudly continue to support Mogo Wildlife Park by donating our Rose-Hip Vital powders, helping these special animals live healthier, more comfortable lives.
Hearing how our products improve quality of life never gets old. The stories from Mogo Wildlife Park remind us just how far-reaching the benefits of Rose-Hip Vital can be — even for some of the most unique creatures on the planet.
Keep reading to meet some of Mogo’s remarkable animal residents and discover how Rose-Hip Vital is helping them thrive.

Tanzi
Meet Tanzi, a Rothschild giraffe living out her golden years at Mogo Wildlife Park. At 22 years old, she’s one of the park’s senior residents and, like many ageing animals, she experiences some joint discomfort, including arthritis. As part of her daily care, Tanzi receives two scoops of Rose-Hip Vital mixed into her morning pellets—and again with her afternoon feed—to help support her mobility and overall wellbeing.

Nadine & Dolly
Meet Nadine and Dolly, two female common ostriches who call Mogo Wildlife Park home. Now in their later years, they experience mild age-related joint stiffness—especially during those chilly winter mornings. To help keep them comfortable and mobile, each receives a daily scoop of Rose-Hip Vital mixed into their food as part of their ongoing care routine.

Mafuta
Mafuta is a striking 18-year-old white lion and a much-loved resident of Mogo Wildlife Park. As he’s grown older, he’s experienced occasional stiffness in his back legs, particularly during the colder months. In the past, Mafuta required non-steroidal anti-inflammatories to stay comfortable through winter.
Since starting on Rose-Hip Vital in 2017, his mobility has steadily improved—and he’s now back to one of his favorite pastimes: playfully chasing his keepers as they walk beside his enclosure! Best of all, he no longer needs his winter anti-inflammatories.
Mafuta happily enjoys his daily dose of Rose-Hip Vital mixed in with his meat.

G-Anne & Kriba
G-Anne and Kriba are two 45-year-old gorillas enjoying their golden years at Mogo Wildlife Park. Since 2018, they’ve been supplemented with Rose-Hip Vital to support healthy ageing—boosting their intake of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, while also helping to ease age-related mobility issues.
Thanks to Rose-Hip Vital, both G-Anne and Kriba have shown ongoing improvements in their movement, allowing them to stay active and keep pace with the youngest members of the troop. These days, they take on their nanny duties with confidence and ease.

Fern
Fern, at 44 years old, is the eldest of Mogo Wildlife Park’s Siamang Gibbons. To help manage age-related arthritis, she’s been taking Rose-Hip Vital—and she’s not only thriving on it, but absolutely loves the taste! Her favorite way to enjoy it is tucked inside a piece of banana, though she often licks out the Rose-Hip Vital first before finishing the fruit.
Fern continues to impress us with her agility and improved mobility well into her senior years.

Truman & Icaru
Truman (22) and Icara (23) are Mogo Wildlife Parks oldest pair of Cotton Top Tamarins. Previously, Icara had been experiencing stiffness in her hind legs that was making it difficult for her to keep up with the group.
Since starting on Rose-Hip Vital, both Truman and Icara have experienced vast improvement in their mobility and overall health and wellbeing. Icara is now able to move freely and keep pace with the rest of the younger Cotton Top Tamarin family. It’s also believed their daily dose of Rose-Hip Vital is responsible for them thriving into such an old age.
