Jodie Newall, Grand Prix Dressage Rider

I have been competing in Dressage for more than twelve years, and in that time I have campaigned a range of horses, including three at Grand Prix level. Over the last few years I have maintained 5-6 horses in work whilst undertaking study and now in my profession, I spend a lot of time each day in the saddle, but also a large amount of time sitting in the car or behind a desk. As a younger (more stupid) rider, I have also found myself riding horses that were more exuberant than most. As a result, I’ve been dealing with back pain for a long time.

I was on scholarship with the ACT Academy of Sport for four years and had weekly physio sessions, expensive scans, which failed to diagnose or treat the pain. I did strength and conditioning work at the gym several times per week but this made little impact and often made it worse. Since coming off my scholarship, I dragged myself to physio when things got unbearable, but aside from that, I just got on with it (though apparently my family put up with a bit of whingeing too).

In late 2013, my back flared up, so I was once again at physio. Every competition I rode with my back taped and all I could smell was Dencorub. I was thinking that I’m 26 years old and this shouldn’t be happening!

I’ve now been taking the human version of Rose-Hip Vital for the last six weeks. While I still have a minor pinching, the burning ache is gone and I have to say, I haven’t been to the physio nor had to have my back taped since I’ve been taking the product. Whereas before, if I saw something on the ground, I had to make a conscious decision whether it was worth the pain to bend down and pick it up, or whether it could stay there. It took a while for me to realise that I was suddenly picking things up without thought.

I have more energy, which is not surprising seeing as I’m no longer in a fog of pain. I have made plans to go and train in Europe, something that I wasn’t confident in before, as I would have to think about whether or not my back would cope well with it. I can safely say that I’m very impressed and I’m relieved to have found something that works for me.

As far as Rose-Hip Vital Equine goes, I’ve always been extremely skeptical of most oral supplements on the market. Most of the time, these products only have anecdotal evidence of their success and have nothing quantitative or scientific. Given the impact that the product has had on me, I’m prepared to use the equine version as a maintenance supplement for my horses. Neither Jive Matrix or Danse Avec Moi have had any significant issues, so their response has not been the same emphatic one that I’ve seen in myself, however they are both moving more freely and consistently.

The horses don’t mind the taste either. I like the fact that it is a natural product, particularly in this day and age as we start to discover the ill-effects of synthetic substances. Of course, competing at major competitions I need a product that does not contain prohibited ingredients, and once again Rose-Hip Vital ticks the box. So, as an athlete, I couldn’t speak more highly of the product and its contribution to my well being and my equestrian objectives.

Senior Couple Walking Along Beach I have competed in Ironman triathlons, as well as short course triathlons, for thirteen years. Competing in triathlons, especially long-course, requires consistent training, and often long sessions, in all three disciplines ‰- swimming, cycling and running. When I first started using swim paddles in training four years ago, I developed tendinitis of the long bicep tendon that attaches to my left shoulder. This resulted in acute pain of my left shoulder and it negatively impacted on my swim training.

Massage, physio and visits to the sports doctor were not fixing the problem. A few different medical options helped provide temporary relief but it has been an ongoing problem area for me. The best treatment was rest but this meant I couldn’t do what I love. Triathlon.

I started taking Rose-Hip Vital in January this year. Now, eight months on, I can definitely say that it has been a huge help. I am currently training for the Ironman World Championships and clocking up to three sessions a week of swim training both in the ocean and the pool, swimming 3-4km in some sessions. The inflammation has subsided to the point that I can press on my shoulder without pain.

I have not had any interrupted training due to shoulder pain and only occasionally notice it when training. I sincerely believe that the anti-inflammatory properties of Rose-Hip Vital is the reason that I no longer have acute shoulder pain. It‰’s great that I can take a natural product rather than a drug prescribed by a doctor and it remains effective over a long period. The fact Rose-Hip Vital is clinically proven to work on inflammation tells me that there are bound to be other benefits too. I am hoping that it is inhibiting joint and tissue damage and protecting my cartilage, which at my age whilst training for races is so important. The added bonus of antioxidants and natural Vitamin C helps my immunity and recovery post-training and racing. As an active person I believe in feeding the body the best in whole foods and natural supplements over processed foods and synthetic additives. I am also always on the lookout for what can keep me healthy long term so I can keep racing triathlons. I will continue taking Rose-Hip Vital ongoing for both my shoulder pain and general wellbeing. So pleased I found it!

I suffer from Psoriatic Arthritis, which can come and go intermittently. When it does, it’s painful. I’ve been taking Rose Hip Vital Capsules for a few months now. I haven’t had any attacks and I feel good. This also means I can go to gym and play sport regularly, which as a total lifestyle, helps even more.

I started to take Rose-Hip Vital because I was looking for a powerful anti-inflammatory with no side effects and something that could help with my joints without hurting my digestive system. I found out about it from my mum who uses it for her dogs and horses I think, it sounded great so I looked into it and tried some out for myself. I started to take it because I have had multiple surgeries on my ankle and knee from my profession as a professional skateboarder, as well as the rest of my body taking a beating for the last 14 years doing it.

I was ready to try and make myself feel better / younger / fitter and less sore. I noticed a difference in my knees and ankles with basically less pain in the joints, and that’s all I was after. I don’t believe there is any ‘wonder cure ‘ for anything but Rose-Hip Vital has definitely helped my body. I’ll keep taking it for a long time to come because I feel good from it, and there is nothing better than that. With professional skateboarding as my job, my poor body takes a beating daily so it’s great to have something that can support my joints. It’s a true blessing to the body!

Having led a seriously sporting life from a young age and being competitive by nature, my body has had its share of gruelling times. Being a Physiotherapist, I know the problems with joints and ageing, wear and tear, it’s inevitable and especially when an active sporting lifestyle has been a way of life. More to the point is that I am still wanting to be active and competitive.

My joints ache but I ignore them or take anti-inflammatories. I have tried many different joint formulas and can say that I have never found any benefit and it wasn’t from the lack of trying. I was asked for some photos to use in an advertising campaign for Rose Hip Vital. I had a meeting to discuss the pictures needed and found out a little about Rose Hip Vital (here we go, another one of those natural therapies!).

Now being sceptical about additives for horses etc I was not prepared to use it. It wasn’t free and how can you tell in an equine athlete. I then said if it worked on people then I would consider it of benefit to horses. I did start the Rose Hip Vital and despite my ho hum attitude, I have been truly blown away with the result. I cannot tell enough people the difference it has made to my life.

I am fitter, thinner and healthier and my joint pain is without doubt minimised. I am on no other medication at all and I can absolutely say that Rose Hip Vital has changed my life. I can get out of bed and walk straight down the stairs without any problem which I haven’t done for years. My wrists and thumbs no longer hurt and I have not run a step for years and the other day I had to hurry to get somewhere and I ran without thinking and when I got there a bit puffed!

I realised what I had just done. There is no question at all, that Rose Hip Vital is an amazing additive to my life and I will not go a day without it. I have to say that above all I have not felt so fit and healthy for years and I have not changed a thing. I simply feel better and have less joint pain so I am able to do more and so the wheel goes around. I feel fantastic and of course this all leads to a better mind set and positive outlook.

My life is all good and what‰’s more so many people have asked how come I look fitter and healthier and that I am riding better. The answer is obvious! It’s exciting.

Of course my horses are both on RoseHip Vital and Weltsohn who 15 months ago sustained a serious stifle injury that required surgery and the prognosis from top vets here in Australia and America gave him little hope. 12 months later he became sound and I was able to start working him gently and this was the time I was trying Rose Hip Vital and believed it helped so Sonny started. It‰’s been three months and he looks fantastic.

He has bloomed from a hairy no muscled unathletic looking dressage horse who was a Grand Prix Athlete 15 months ago. He is healthy and shiny and back to being his excitable self. Above all he is having no problem with his joints at all and the scans and Xrays are remarkable. I attribute his lucky break to great vet attention and prompt and appropriate treatment and above all rest. I never thought he would come sound and nor did most vets.

He did and now Rose Hip Vital is helping keep him on track. Never believed I would ride another Grand Prix test on him and he travelled to Melbourne for his first competition and was Fantastic. Totally healthy and placed mid field. His luck was that he developed a foot abscess and I had to withdraw. His stifle is perfect and his health is the best ever. He is absolutely as he was prior to the injury. I am sure Rose Hip Vital is working. It’s a wonderful product and I swear by it for me and my horses.

My story of success with Rose-Hip Vital came about because when my dog had amazing results with taking the Canine version of the same product. I had been struggling with hip, knee and foot pain for a few years. Competing in dog sports had been difficult for a while and causing me significant pain and discomfort, let alone jeopardizing our chances of winning. It had becoming difficult to stay motivated to exercise because of the pain.

Around a week after starting on Rose-Hip Vital, I started to notice a huge difference in the way I was moving. I can now walk indefinitely again without the crippling pain in my hips. My knees are more supple and my feet feel great. I am negotiating agility courses with ease and am now more motivated to exercise. I am so grateful to have found this amazing product. I have tried several other joint supplements and have never found them to help. I am truly amazed by the results I have had. My husband is now taking Rose-Hip vital also. I am now also using the Rose-Hip Oil, which is doing wonders for my eczema and dry skin.

I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis 16 years ago. The compression in my spinal nerve roots has led to disc bulges and ongoing sciatica pain. As a dressage rider, my symptoms tend to worsen after riding with the pain radiating down my leg causing numbness and weakness.

Over the years I have sought relief via cortisone injections directly into the spine and anti-inflammatory medications, procedures which are both invasive and cause other health problems. I have tried most other forms of natural pain relief and vitamins such as Krill oil, fish oil, glucosamine and chondroitin with little or no beneficial effect.

Four weeks ago, I started on Rose-Hip Vital with 5 capsules twice a day. Within 2 weeks, my symptoms had dramatically improved and now 4 weeks on I am virtually pain free even after riding and exercise. Because I am no longer in chronic pain, I am also experiencing an added benefit of increased energy levels and a feeling of general well- being. I am very excited about Rose-Hip Vital and highly recommend it!

With a full time job and a family that I love to spend my spare time with, I have to make the most of my limited training hours in the sport of triathlon. For the last two years, I’ve struggled to use the limited training time efficiently with a few insistent injuries including inflammation around my right ITB and left Achilles.

With an Ironman triathlon in the calendar this year, I started taking Rosehip recently to help with inflammation. I’m happy to say that I’ve been able to train pain free for the first time in a long time. I’ve even completed three training runs in the last month that are over 30km in distance and have felt great the following day, which I haven’t been able to do for years! I’d highly recommend trying Rosehip to any athlete looking to reduce inflammation and injuries!

I am a 43 year old triathlete from the northern beaches of Sydney. I have been doing triathlons for about 18 years now and in that time I have completed 20 ironman triathlons and 4 marathons. I have noticed in the last few years that running in the colder winter months has become increasingly difficult, with a gradual increase in hip and, in particular knee pain bilaterally.

I was lucky enough this year to be granted a spot into the ironman world championships in Hawaii in October. I would normally rest over these winter months but this year I needed to be able to train hard and consistently for the biggest race of my life. I completed ironman Cairns in early June and finished with a sore and swollen left knee. I had several weeks of recovery after the race but my knee was still troubling me.

I had pain mainly on my medial anterior joint line and in my patella-femoral joint. I started on Rose-Hip Vital and after a couple of weeks, I noticed the pain had subsided considerably and I was able to, after a short warm up, run freely. I have now been using it for about 5 weeks and for the first time in a long time, I am able to run on consecutive days. I am also finding that I don’t have the same level of joint pain after running that I have had for the last couple of years. From a joint pain perspective, I am recovering much quicker from my runs. With 10 weeks now until the race in Hawaii I am confident that I will be able to get the running that I need done to prepare for the race, thanks to Rose-Hip Vital. This is something that I haven’t been able to do for a few years.

Let me pass on my personal benefits from using Rose-Hip Vital. I was due to have knee replacements, which is a classic problem for an aged person who has played sport. The pain from both knees had been hidden by use of anti-inflammatory drugs. However, once one learns that anti-inflammatory drugs have some serious long term other health issues, so alternatives are a MUST or I will suffer later from other complications‰. Stomach or Kidneys?

So outside of taking my fish oil, I decided to move over to Rose-Hip Vital. It was after some time that I was able to move away from anti-inflammatory drugs. I would take the occasional harmless Panadol if playing 2 days in row, but this was because I wanted to continue on playing Tennis. I had, from my success, recommended this product to a lady who had given up sport completely due to knee problems. She has advised she has this last year been able to play Hockey all year and thanked me yesterday.

I am a 58 year old male who was told by a surgeon that before I turn 65, I will need to have both my knees replaced as I have no cartilage left and it was bone on bone. My job involves a lot of squatting to pick up glass and climbing ladders and by the time I get home, I usually can’t walk. The pain was becoming unbearable.

A friend suggested Rose-Hip Vital to me as he was feeding powder to a Dachshund that was old and arthritic and she improved 100% and dogs know no different, so he tried it for his arthritis and found a great improvement. So I thought being the sceptic that I am and the fact that Glucosamine wasn’t doing anything, my wife went on the computer to look up what it was supposed to do and found the Rose-Hip Vital site. She decided to buy it for me.

Well, after the first week, I felt a difference. After 5 weeks and dropping the dose, I am able to do my job with ease, walk the dog daily and play golf again with no pain after. It’s wonderful and I would recommend it to everybody.

In June 2017, I completed my 11th marathon in Christchurch New Zealand. It was not without great difficulty that I got to the start line. I rolled my ankle 10 days before the event and unfortunately tore the ligaments.  I took some time off post event to try recover before my preparation commenced for an Ironman triathlon.

One month later, I started swimming, cycling and running. Strangely enough, I had the most pain with my ankle in the pool on the extension movement. I started taking Rosehip Vital and within no time, the pain in my ankle disappeared. I was now able to do swims of 3-4km without any pain in my ankle.

Rose-Hip Vital has been an amazing natural anti-inflammatory for me. I highly recommend it for any endurance athletes. I don’t believe you need to get an injury to start taking Rose-Hip Vital… just get on it now and hopefully you will avoid the injury altogether!

Rosehip Vital was recommended by a mate Stan who had been taking it for years for an old motocross injury he swore by it. I had a really big get off on a dirtbike in 2008 and after being discharged I started taking it.

Dad came with me one day to see Stan racing still, Dad said to Stan his fingers were getting too stiff, which immediately got Stan on to his Rosehip Vital story.

Mum started complaining of sore knuckles and lower back pain. Stan wasn’t there so I stepped up and Mum takes too.

Last but definitely not least my dear old Staffy Riley was diagnosed with arthritis of the hips at 9 years of age and was given Rosehip Canine till he passed last year at age 15.

I can’t recommend this product enough.

Sincerely

Simon J

Antony from Bondi, NSW

I started using Rosehip Vital in May 2012. By this stage I had given up I was ever going to be able to surf without back pain again. I have lived an athletic life yoga, swimming, windsurfing, snow skiing and boarding cycling and surfing, which I have loved the most.  I had found a new love for soft sand running as well. Somewhere along the way I injured my lower back in the L4&5 regions and have been managing the injury and pain for the past 20+ years When I initially started to feel lower back pain, I saw my first chiro and physio but as the years went on, I had almost lost hope I would be able to wake up each morning with no back pain.

I have been to sports injury specialists who were always  helpful, but nothing has lasted. I have also tried numerous beds and pillows. I still go to the chiropractor and I have also found a great acupuncturist who  helps me manage my body’s aches and pains. I also have found massage very useful.

Since I have been using Rose-Hip Vital, I have still had to employ the services of therapists to assist me when I get injured but the main difference  is that recovery is so rapid. An injury in the past that would’ve taken weeks to heal now takes hours or days. What I found after taking Rose-Hip Vital for two weeks was that I noticed the tension in my lower back had reduced.  After a month, it had almost gone. I can only assume there was some internal swelling that taking Rose-Hip Vital helped deflate.

I was not doing or eating anything different, and with my new found freedom I found I could start surfing again. I even booked myself on a 10 day boat trip surf holiday for me in a few months’ time. This was nerve-wracking as I had tried this in the past and it had ended in me spending most of the time out of the water due to pain.

However, I was determined to go on my holiday. I started preparing by  swimming more often than normal to gain as much paddle strength as I could, as this would enable me to spend as much time in the water as possible on my trip. After a month of swimming,  I started yoga again. I had done a lot of yoga in the past, but in the end I had to stop due to the escalating pain that would come from a small overstretch. This would end up with a couple weeks of no physical activity and depression.

In short, I went on my boat trip and although I felt pain from time to time,  it was almost like I have a young body again! My recovery was immediate or at least by the time I awoke the next morning, I was able to push myself again. I am still doing yoga and surfing regularly.

This Sunday I am riding in the Sydney to Wollongong MS ride and I feel confident that despite a few aches and pains, I will be able to manage the pain a whole lot better. Being able to manage the pain has relaxed my attitude about doing sport.

I have formed an addiction to RoseHip Vital, by having either 3 capsules a day or a scoop of powder over my cereal. The other thing I have noticed is I have had a winter free from colds and flu. Not even a runny nose and I have been around several people with the flu at work.

We’ve written a blog post about Antony’s journey with Rose-Hip Vital. Read about it here!

Not only is Martin an award winning pharmacist from Martin‰’s Chemist in Sydney, he also trains & competes in marathons & triathlons. Back in December 2012, Martin‰’s physio said he needed a knee replacement. Shortly after, Martin started Rose-Hip Vital with GOPO(RHV) and has since competed in several competitions & still has both his knees!

Martin has been in touch to give us an update on how he is doing!

‘‰At the beginning of this year, during January, I was struggling to get back into training. This was due to twisting my knee a number of times on a trek in October. During runs, my knee would be stiff and sore and after the runs it would be inflamed. At the shop, we were out of RHV. I placed an order which arrived in early February.

I am currently running freely 6 days/week with a long run of over 20km on Friday. My only knee problem now is a bit of weakness. I can kneel and sit back on my heels. I am currently taking the 3/day of the new Joint Strength RHV.

I have been having great results with the new 150 caps in terms of less muscle soreness, better recovery (good to go again next day) and you feel you can dig deeper when training. I have taken other supplements in the past. I used to take a supplement with grape seed oil, ginkgo and other antioxidants which helped (and have tried fish oil and krill oil) but once you started on RHV, you stopped taking everything else because of the positive effects you had beyond what the others offered.

I recently raced in the Canberra Marathon in April, accompanying my daughter in her first marathon. My knee is still great & I am now training for the City2Surf in August, the Marathon in Sydney in September and Ironman Busselton triathlon in December. If I have flare up around the knee, I takes the loading dose and within 24hrs it settles it! ‘

John from Wembley Downs, WA

Jeff from Narangba, QLD
