Dosage

For optimal results, the recommended daily dosage is:

For an average 1,100 lb (500kg) horse, this equates to 2 scoops (1.76 oz or 50g) daily for the first 4 weeks, then 1 scoop (0.88 oz or 25g), ongoing.

I had a vet work on my mare a few years back and although they couldn,t really find a cause ,she did show some stiffness in the hocks espescially in collected canter. As per vet advice I put her on monthy injections of Pentosan with good effect. The rising cost of this drug has made me seek alternatives and I thought I would try Rose-Hip Vital as we had used it with great success with an older dog a few years back. Three months in and she is looking and working well, its lovely to not have to inject her monthly and she appears to find the powder quite appetizing. Happy customer :-)
