Adele McConnell, founder of the well-known healthy living website Vegie Head, is a passionate dog owner. Her fur babies Hank and Holly have been taking Rose-Hip Vital Canine ever since we launched in Australia.
Adele tells their story:
“Hank was diagnosed with early onset arthritis and hip and elbow displaysia when he was 2 years old. We’d always been on top of his health and nutrition, but being so young our vet wanted us to include Rose-Hip Vital in his food.
We saw an immediate improvement and he was happier, able to move freely and limping less than he had been. We also include it in our other dogs diet- Holly loves it, and being such a big dog it’s important that we support her joints as best we can. We love Rose-Hip Vital in this household! ”
Hank and holly have a very healthy diet thanks to Adele’s amazing skills in the kitchen but she believes it’s easy to cook a wholefood diet for dogs. She even wrote an eBook about it called Delicious Doggy Dishesin which she offers dog owners great recipes and health tips. She takes the same approach as she would with humans – cook quality meals and offer whole foods from an early age which are nutritious, cheap and convenient. She is also a believer in adding supplements to their diets for their general health and wellbeing.
