A couple of months ago Rose-Hip Vital Canine very kindly sent us 3 tubs of their Rose-Hip powder to try. I promised to let everyone know how the bubs were doing on it and if we'd seen any improvements. Well, yes, we have. The most noticeable has been our little Pepper. Pepper is a permanent resident here, she's a 13 year old Chinese Crested and was diagnosed with advanced kidney disease not long after she came to live here about four years ago.
About 4 weeks after starting the Rose-Hip Vital powder we noticed that this shy, elderly, often reticent little girl seemed to be reinventing herself. As the weeks passed, Pepper started acting more like a puppy, play bowing, trotting rather than walking, asking for cuddles, doing silly dances, greeting visitors like she hadn't seen them for years and generally blossoming into a more confident, playful, happy and silly girl. Her transformation was so obvious, I even decided to trim her hair into a ‘puppy cut' to match her new personality.
The other dogs have also had improvements, however we also transitioned to Black Hawk fish and potato dry food around the same time, so we can't say ‘for sure' that the improvements in general health and better skin condition are attributed to one or a combination of both products. Pepper, however, hasn't had any changes to her diet, she's on a pretty strict regimen to make sure that her kidneys are in tip top condition. The only addition in recent months has been the Rose-hip powder. Many thanks to the Rose-hip Vital Canine.
