My boy ‘Patchie’ is a Hereford steer, is about 8.5 years old and came to me at 18 months in 2015. I started him on Rose-Hip Vital (RHV) powder on 1 August 2022. The reason I'm giving Patchie RHV is that his mobility hasn’t been the very best due to his size; he's a very large steer who has really slowed down, so of course I want to help him!
Patchie has been on the required ‘loading dose’ of 100gms (4 x 25g scoops) for the full month of August. I simply mix it into his chaff at night and he gobbled it all up the very first time so I was very impressed.
Great News! ... In only 4 weeks, I have noticed that Patchie is not laying down as much, has had a few ‘frolick’ sessions around the paddock and is 'sparring' more with his paddock buddy, ‘Jet’. He is still walking slowly but more evenly so is very pleasing to see!
I discovered RHV via a video I saw on FB about an Angus bull ‘Raven Man O Man’ who also had mobility issues and who improved greatly after taking this powder so I just had to give it a go for Patchie! …Make sure you try this wonderful product!
