My boy ‘Patchie’ is a Hereford steer, is about 8.5 years old and came to me at 18 months in 2015. I started him on Rose-Hip Vital (RHV) powder on 1 August 2022. The reason I'm giving Patchie RHV is that his mobility hasn’t been the very best due to his size; he's a very large steer who has really slowed down, so of course I want to help him!
Patchie has been on the required ‘loading dose’ of 100gms (4 x 25g scoops) for the full month of August. I simply mix it into his chaff at night and he gobbled it all up the very first time so I was very impressed.
