My horse tutu suffered from stringhalt 2 years ago; we tried absolutely everything u could imagine to help him, it was really bad where he had to be locked in a yard to restrict movement, he would spend ages lifting his back leg up and struggling to put it down. The vet always had faith he would recover with time, my worry was that if he did recover, would he have problems with his joints and movement as the string halt was a 5/5 bad.


I put him on Rose-Hip Vital straight away just in case that would cause less inflammation in his legs.


He has now after 2 years made a full recovery, he is back to dressage and showjumping and the vet reckons that the Rose-Hip Vital did help with his joints, he had no aches or pains in his back end from loss of muscle.


It really has helped so many horses I know and I do believe it played a huge part in helping him with recovery.


I’ve just competed in some international dressage classes and he scored 73%.

“She is so much happier”


This is Ebony shes a 10 year old mare who I have owned since she was 3. Her head shaking began in the first year I got her. It gradually got worse but always seemed to be seasonal. March was worst time of year and then change from winter to spring but not so bad. It got to the stage we couldnt compete at those times. We had everything checked by vets to rule out any other cause. She also has always creaked when she walked not consistently but enough you would notice it. About 2 years ago I put her on Rose-Hip Vital. After few months my coach noticed before me that she couldnt hear her creak much any more and now it has gone. Last March we also noticed her headshaking had all but disappeared and have attributed that to the Rose-Hip also. She is a bit of a hot horse and as such only gets fed hay no hard feed whatsoever. Her only supplements are Mag E and Rose-Hip Vital apart from salts. As you can see she is very healthy and shiny. She is so much happier too the headshaking problem used to annoy her so much. Its such an involuntary thing she would try so hard but you could tell she had no control over it. Now I can compete her all through the year thanks to Rose-Hip Vital.

In January this year my 10 year old QH had an accident with a gate. He was hit with force around his coronet band. Prior to this he had damaged the coronet band and had ongoing problems with cracking hooves which started off like an abscess. He was X-rayed and I was told he had torn the ligament off the bone. I didn’t agree with this as you can’t see torn ligaments on an X-ray. I then asked for a second opinion from a lameness specialist who tested him and did nerve blocks and re X-rayed him. She found that he had a side bone fracture plus navicular and coffin bone changes as well as coronet band damage.


I was told to put him back in the paddock and leave him for 6 – 12 months and then re X-ray him after 6 months. I started him on Rose-Hip Vital and within weeks he was galloping around the paddock like there was nothing wrong. So much for rest!!! He was X-rayed again a couple of weeks ago and there was no sign of his fracture and his coronet band had healed. He does not appear lame and I have started him back in light work. I believe putting him on Rose-Hip Vital has made all the difference to his recovery. I will be keeping him on this for life.

I spoke to you mid-July about my horse who had been suffering from hock pain in both hind legs, as a result, she also suffered from mild pain around the coronet/fetlock area and general muscle soreness in the rump region.


I started her on Rose Hip Vital Equine a few days after our conversation. We are now on the second bucket, and on a maintenance dose. After a physical exam yesterday, she tested negative to a flexion test (after testing positive in July), she is clearly not in as much pain since her previous exam in July and appears to be more comfortable with the areas being touched.


We will review giving a Pentosan injection into the muscle mid-September if pain is still present however so far, the results speak for themselves and I am pleased with how Rose Hip Vital has taken effect.
