Equine Testimonials: Rose-Hip Vital Success Stories

Sheer Etiquette (Ellie)

CONDITION: Joint Pain
RIDER: Susan Paix's
LOCATION: AUS

In 2011 we started competing at Grand Prix International, unfortunately arthritic changes and stiffness set in for Ellie and we sadly decided to retire. Six months ago I started Ellie on Rose-Hip Vital. The change is unbelievable.

Ellie is better now than when she was competing. Ellie and I are going back into competition at the ripe age of 20. This is so exciting!

Life is too short to be unhealthy. Thank you Rose-Hip Vital!

"The feedback has been positive, both from my clients and from the horse’s themselves"

As a professional equine bodyworker for over 10 years, and a trainer prior to that, I know the importance of joint health. Joint pain and dysfunction should be considered from a whole horse point of view. Through the fascial system one unhappy joint can create a myriad of negative changes in the horse’s body affecting: performance, trainability, temperament, recovery, muscle condition, digestive health and saddle fit. When Dr Raquel Butler mentioned Rose-Hip Vital as a viable joint supplement I did some research into the product and then recommended it to my clients. The feedback has been positive, both from my clients and from the horse’s themselves. The horse’s body tells me when it is feeling more comfortable, areas that were tight due to compensation become freer and muscle rebuilds in a normal pattern. Dogs in my practice have also gained new enthusiasm for life on Rose-Hip Vital Canine. As Rose-Hip Vital appears to be gentle on the stomach I gave it a go for myself and I feel so much better, not just my joints but muscles as well. Of course I was silly enough to stop taking it for a while and quickly realised the benefits I was missing! Robyn Larson-Shelton of Equine Miracle/Pet Miracle is based in Canberra but also travels Australia and New Zealand. She is passionate about bodywork and educating owners and therapists in the best way to maintain the musculoskeletal health of their horse or pet. Find Robyn on Facebook or visit her website.

"She seems to be a lot calmer and happier in herself"

I have now been using Rose-Hip Vital and Rose-Hip Vital Equine for about 8 weeks. I have definitely seen and felt some changes on both myself and my young horse Jazzmin. I have had a back issue, been fit a long time , and it flared up again after Christmas. Despite going to physio every week, it did not get any better. But since I have taken Rose-Hip Vital, I have had no back issues, and also feeling much better in myself. I have also felt a big improvement in Jazzmin (6 y old mare, by Jazz!) She can be a bit flighty and spooky, but she seems to be a lot calmer and happier in herself. She also used to feel a bit uneven, when I first would trot, but that has completely disappeared. Having only used it for 8 weeks, I'm looking forward to continue with Rose-Hip Vital, both for me and my horses. I also told my husband, Rob, to take some. And he found that he is feeling much better overall, as he always gets colds over winter, but has not had any yet!

"He is a picture of health and loves life"

Rumple (aka APH True Seville) came into my life when I was his travelling groom. At the time he was on the Australian Dressage Squad with Paula Price. Late 2011 I got the opportunity to buy Rumple – at the time he was 18. He is a beautiful horse, not just to look at but also in personality, and very generous. He always gave 110% when we were training and competing. We did our last CDI together when he was 21yrs old. Unfortunately in May 2015 he sustained an injury which has resulted in his retirement. During this past winter he became very stiff in his hindquarters and found it difficult to get moving in the mornings – typical of arthritis which is to be expected in a horse of his age and one that has done as much high performance work as he has. He was prescribed 5mls of bute per day and this did help him, but there was still residual stiffness. So, I decided to try Rose-Hip Vital. We started November 1 with the loading dose. In 3 weeks there was a noticeable difference and after 4 weeks Rumple was moving normally, even in the mornings. He was perhaps a bit too well and started playing in the paddock – we always use to joke that he thinks he’s 4 years old, and he seems to have returned to this mentality. On December 1 I reduced the dose to the maintenance dose of 1 scoop, and it only took a few days to notice some stiffness return, so I spoke with Justin, who advised that we can return the loading dose with no risk. As you can see from this photo, taken just after Rumple’s 23rd birthday in late November, he is a picture of health and loves life, and this is how I intend to keep him for a long time to come. I will keep in touch to let you know how we go with the increase back to the loading dose and our journey to keep Rumple as happy and comfortable as possible. Kind Regards,

Leesa Murray

“If I run out for even a week, I notice the difference!”

My but aged OTTB mare Rogue, I’ve had her for 7-8 years and always struggled with soundness, and maintaining weight. Typical OTTB!

She suffered bighead disease a couple years ago, recurring abscesses, always ribby and severely lacking topline despite GROCERIES GALORE.

She has been on RHV for about 6 months – she is happier and calmer emotionally, looking like a big fat dressage WB, and her clicky-clacky arthritic fetlocks make no noise and she doesn’t need that 5-10min “is she lame” warmup every day! She’s just a happy, sound girl. At 18, she doesn’t have too many expectations besides trail rides, zoomies round some jump courses and the odd dressage test – purely competing for the fun of it!

She’s with me til the end of her days, and will never not get RHV. If I run out for even a week, I notice the difference!
