"So at 11.5 years old, he's still chasing his ball, still running for the door if someone pulls up"
Some time ago I contacted you guys with some concerns about keeping my lab x on the loading dose long term, as RHV seemed to be very effective for him but only if I kept him on 6 scoops a day, any less and he started stiffening back up again. You guys reassured me that this was safe and that I could do so.
So! He's now been on RHV for 2.5 years now, and on six scoops a day for the majority of it. Last week we needed to pop to the vet for some surgery and prior to the anesthetic, we opted to do some blood work to minimise risk. And I'm rapt to report that his results were near perfect, all within the normal range and very close to the middle!
So at 11.5 years old, he's still chasing his ball, still running for the door if someone pulls up and healthy as a horse I thought I'd pass this on so that if you ever get any other concerned customers like myself, you can reassure them that other paranoid pet owners have had great success with staying on the loading dose!
