"Rose-Hip Vital is also an important part of my own fitness plan"
Kerry Mack is a successful Grand Prix Dressage rider. She is best known with her star stallion Mayfield Pzazz. Pzazz placed at the World Young horse Championships with Kerry and then went on to be a consistent CDI competitor. Stud principal at Mayfield Farm, Kerry not only trains her own horses, but breeds and produces them. Kerry has a very broad experience, competed showjumping to World Cup, 3 day Evented, ridden western, was successful as an amateur jockey, and grew up with Stockhorses and Arabs. Kerry enjoys the challenge of bringing out the best in her horses, seeing them develop physically and mentally as they become the best they can be. “Training for the high levels takes a long time. You have to be patient and meticulous to achieve excellence. There are no short cuts to develop a confident, relaxed Grand Prix horse.” Kerry says.
When it takes so long to train a horse it is really important to care for them so they maintain fitness and soundness. Kerry is a medical doctor in her other (non horsey) life, so understands the importance of good nutrition for health. An athlete’s diet must include antioxidants to reduce the effects of stress and aging. Pzazz is a wonderful example. Now 20 years old he looks and feels fantastic. He is still competing at Grand Prix. Rose Hip Vital has become an important part of his diet, and that of Kerry’s younger FEI horses.
"I need to maintain my own flexibility and fitness if I want to keep competing at the top. I have had one hip replaced to help my riding, so am very aware of the need to look after myself. Rose-Hip Vital is also an important part of my own fitness plan"
